 Classic Baskets from Hooper Bay - Alaska

These Ladies hand-weave these delicate baskets & fans,
hand-stitch the moose & seal hides as their ancestors have
done.  Pauline is originally from Hooper Bay & has passed
her traditions & knowledge to her daughter Barbara.  The
beach grass is collected by hand, the dyes used are
traditional - blueberry, alder leaves and other plants.
