These Ladies hand-weave the delicate baskets & fans, hand stitch the moose & seal hides for these objects.  Mom is originally from Hooper Bay & has passed her traditions & knowledge to her daughter.  The beach grass is collected by hand, the dyes used are traditional - blueberry, alder leaves and other plants.
